Galleries Introduction | Photographs | Friends of New Ash Green Village Centre

At the moment the photo gallery is split into two parts.

The “Early Years” consists of photographs taken late 60s to mid 70s.

These were obtained by kind permission of Eric Lyons and Partners Archive courtesy of Ivor Cunningham, former partner of Eric Lyons who was a major contributor to the original design of the centre.

"Recent" are photographs taken late 2006, early 2007 by members of FONAGVC.

Over the years the centre has grown to include additional shop units, a large Supermarket, Ash House offices, The Badger, Public House, Village Hall, Youth and Community Centre, Library, Doctors Surgery, Dentist, Health Clinic and a Primary School.

We have very few photographs of the intervening period and would greatly appreciate contact from anyone who can help fill the gap so that we can add a further section to the gallery.

Photos are needed, not just of the centre generally, but of activities in the centre, individual shops, past traders.

Even photos which may be considered unsuccessful as far as the intended subject is concerned, may be of value to us in allowing us to date some unintended content in the background.
